Biographical Sketch--Dixie Swenson

Dixie Swenson has served as Executive Director of the Schuylkill River Greenway Association/Schuylkill River Heritage Corridor since February 1998. Her previous experience includes three years as a member of John Heinz's District Congressional staff in Pittsburgh, seven years as a law firm administrator in Miami, Florida and most recently, eight years as executive director of a county-wide economic development organization in Bozeman, Montana. Ms. Swenson grew up in a small mining town in Colorado and is an honors graduate of the University of Illinois. She and her husband, Keith, have three daughters and two grandchildren.
