Carol Shipp

Carol L. Shipp has been Chief of Staff for the New Jersey Department of Agriculture since December 1994. As Chief of Staff she is responsible for advising the Secretary of Agriculture on various aspects of department policies, programs and regulations. She coordinates intergovernmental affairs that include serving as the liaison to Congress, the New Jersey Legislature, the Governor's Office, national organizations, other state departments of agriculture and assisting in the development of national agricultural policy. Ms. Shipp manages the Legislative Public Affairs unit of the department, which includes the press operations, agricultural education and information programs.
