Biographical
Sketches
Tom Scott A native of Tennessee, Tom came to Philadelphia after earning a B.A. in Economics from Washington University in St. Louis, MO. He then earned his M.S. in Secondary Education and his Administrative Certificate from Temple University. Prior to Joining W.B. Saul in 1994, he served in various teaching and management roles in the Philadelphia School District. As head of W.B. Saul, he oversees all areas of the school, including planning, curriculum development, discipline, student support services and community, government and business relations. Under his direction the school has grown in national recognition. He has received the Rose Lindebaum Excellence in Education Award. Jean Lonie A Philadelphia native, Jean was a member of the class of 1992 at W.B. Saul. She was a four-year FFA officer and was third in the state in the FFA Interview Competition in 1992. She received a B.S. in general agriculture at the University of Delaware. At Farm Journal Media, she was senior marketing manager of the company’s livestock magazines. Before joining W.B. Saul as a staff member, she worked in marketing and promotion at the Holstein Association in Brattleboro, Vermont. She works with students and staff to promote career, internship, mentoring and certification opportunities. |
