Account of monies due Jane Aiken for printing Memoirs
1811
This detailed account of the various costs associated with the printing
and binding of the second volume of the Society's Memoirs
is especially important, as it is one of the few manuscripts documenting
the printing career of Jane Aitken, an important early Philadelphia printer,
who succeeded her father in the printshop. This account was signed by
Richard Peters, President of the Society, and by Jane Aitken, upon receipt
of the monies due her.
