Manuscript copy, by Jeremiah Baily, of his certificate, dated December
18, 1821, vouching for the efficacy of his newly-invented mowing machine.
The certificate was sent, with an accompanying letter (on the verso of
this certificate), to Dr. James Mease, a member of the Society and its
president from 1844-1846, on December 26, 1821.
