Field Trip.

Bend-in-the-Creek Farm, owned by Dr. Gary and Sandy Sojka, near Middleburg, Pennsylvania will be visited. This farm is engaged in the preservation of Tunis sheep and Dorking chickens. Bryan Snyder, Executive Director of the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture will be the speaker. Representatives of the American Livestock Breeds Conservancy, the Tunis Registry and the Society for Preserving Poultry Antiquities will be present.

The Forest Management Trust has given good management certification to 7.5 million acres of forests in the United States, of which one-fourth is in Pennsylvania, and 70 million acres worldwide. The maintenance and encouragement of forest ecosystems will be discussed.
